We are committed to maintaining a secure, transparent real-time chat network. This policy outlines how we handle your information.

⚠️ 18+ Only: Sparkies is strictly designed for adults. Minors are not permitted. By using this service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

1. Data Collection

We collect minimum data to provide a secure chat experience:

Account: Email and Date of Birth to verify age (18+).
Profile: Anonymous procedural avatars and display names.
Content: Messages in campfires ("Sparks"), daily statuses ("Pulses"), and private chats.

2. Third-Party AI & LLM

We do not share your chat messages, statuses, or data with third-party AI or LLM providers, nor use them to train external models.

3. Location Data

With consent, we use approximate city/regional location to optimize connection and safety. We never collect or share exact GPS.

4. Sharing & Security

We never sell your data. We share technical data only with core infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudinary, Firebase). Data is encrypted in transit via TLS/SSL.

5. Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account in-app. This instantly deactivates your profile and permanently purges your data and messages within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Minors under 18 are prohibited. We do not knowingly collect minor data. Suspected minor accounts are terminated immediately.
